Sandy McDaniel has lived and worked as an artist and visual designer in California for over twenty years. Major artistic influences have been growing up surrounded by the rural landscape of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, her life-long love of horses, and her passion for the West.
Montana and Wyoming are favorite destinations for creative inspiration. Of her equestrian and landscape paintings she says, “I wish to evoke the power and elegant beauty innate in horses, and the freedom that comes from being on horseback in rugged, open country.”
Sandy attended Pennsylvania State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Art. After graduation, she studied privately with Delaware painter Charles Vincent.
